Now, Carla’s first mission has begun. Sent into the city, she must partner with a nervous agent named Max to infiltrate a heavily guarded data center. Their goal is to plant a program that will crack the ruling class’s unbreakable code. But Max is skeptical. He wanted a warrior, not this seemingly ordinary woman. He doesn’t know the truth—that Carla is a machine, a perfect agent, and their greatest hope.

As she walks into danger, Quan and Julian can only wait and hope their silent crusade has begun. The fate of their radical plan now rests on Carla’s synthetic shoulders.
