Dare's had months to settle into his new duties rebuilding a province from the ground up.
It's a daunting task, one that has demanded tireless work from him, his family, and everyone under his leadership. But it's also provided the opportunity to create the prosperous city he's always dreamed of. Now, in the midst of his continuing labors and dealing with encroaching bandits who've proliferated in the wake of Balor's invasion, he must prepare to attend his first Council of Lords.
The region of Bastion is steadily recovering from the damage dealt by Balor's Outcasts, its hardworking and independent people determined to create a new future for themselves.
