The narrator did A good job. The book was written well and interesting. I kept trying to guess what was going to happen next in this book, but I was always surprised in the end.

Excellent Audio
Very good book and the performance of the narrator was excellent too. Amish community, murder, love, a women sheriff and surprises. Kept my interest throughout the book. The deceit of the old sheriff to the community is terrible. I would recommend this audio to others.

Good Story, but...
This was a well-plotted out story, somewhat overdramatic in the depiction of Amish.
the narration almost prevented me from continuing to listen--Amish 'speech' was stilted and overly slow and over-pronounced.
The narration will, most likely, make me consider my options before another purchase.

Intriguing Storyline
This was my first K.A. Hopkins novel and I was very pleased with it. The details of the Amish culture were very interesting and eye opening. The storyline wove characters intricately together so skillfully that I had no difficulty picturing each one in my mind's eye. I'm excited to begin the next novel in the series.
