Entertaining and Thought Provoking!

This story kept me wondering what was going to happen next with the characters while at the same time it was educating and reminding me of the differences there are in various cultures. Also illustrating the decisions that are being made because of cultural norms that affect young people, especially when it concerns marriage and adoption. I am glad I read this novel.

I liked how it slowly revealed the layers of one family’s history and how the past can shape things we don’t fully understand until much later. The back-and-forth between time periods worked really well and kept me invested. It made me think about the weight of decisions, the stories we’re told growing up, and how one message can change everything.

Secrets, Stakes, and All the Feels

I got pulled into this one. What started as a classic “opposites attract” romance flipped fast once the twist with the child hit. I found myself going back and forth between rooting for them to figure it out and yelling at the pages when things got messy (in a good way). The emotional tension felt real—like these were people you might know, just trying to do the right thing while dealing with some very complicated history. If you like love stories with big reveals and layered characters, this one delivers.

I couldn’t stop listening

This book started slowly but absolutely became intense and hooked me in. I absolutely loved it. The characters, the plot, the narrator, everything. This is a must listen.

Romance with mystery

I really enjoyed Labyrinth of Dreams. Nadee has a unique way of drawing you in more and more as the story progresses. She has a deep understanding what how life can be going in one direction and then suddenly throws you curve balls but it’s how we deal with those changes that matters. It’s a heart-warming story but with mystery and suspense that keeps you wanting to read more. The characters develop really well and I felt lots of sympathy for Mala and her story. Without giving anything away, I loved how the story came to a head so it was well worth the time. Really enjoyable and thought provoking.

I coudn't put it down
