LOST CONNECTIONS

Mykel (pronounced Michael), Plummer's life began somewhat shaky. At two years of age, she lost her parents in a house fire. Before she graduated from high school, the grandparents she loved also left her. It wasn't until Mykel lost her loving husband that she began to wonder what she had done for life to be so cruel. Although Mykel felt this way, she had no idea that her life was about to change for the better. That change came when she decided to leave her home in San Francisco and travel to Maryland for a new job. That change came in the form of a family of seven doctors.
When Karen Braithwaite looked at the photo accompanying a potential hire's resume, her sixth sense kicked in. There was something about the young lady's eyes that touched her immensely. After speaking with Mrs. Simmons via Skye, Karen hired her and prayed that she could be someone who would give her eldest son the jump he needed to restart his life.
