Children’s book?!!?? Really?
Thank goodness I listened to this one before my son did! This book has a horrible message, the mother is horrible and mean!! Idk what made you think that this is good for kids?!!!? The mom kicks out her child and she is a kitten. This is all about grownup bullying young children. This is a book about child abuse only put in a pretty little title and picture on the cover. It’s just ridiculous!! This could have been so cool!! You think kitten tales... you think aww😍🥰...then by chapter 3 you realize that the mother is bitter bc no one wanted her...so she takes it out on her daughter who is stronger and prettier than her. Wish my son hadn’t seen the pic of THIS story. Bc it’s the saddest kids book I’ve heard or read. I’m not one to bash a book, so for me to leave a review and it be negative...that’s not me. The hero of the story is sweet and brave; just not enough to lift all the sadness that happens to her.
