The second book in Kit's Morgan's Love in Apple Blossom series does not disappoint. The town of Apple Blossom is still recovering from a recent tragedy when the Darling brothers stumble upon it on holiday in America. The female sheriff is curious, but cautious when it comes to the second brother, Conrad. His "reputation" has her on guard. Will they find love?

There are also some secondary characters worth watching in this story. Captain Stanley Meriweather is an eccentric former sea captain with a plan. He enlist the help of the children of Apple Blossom to see it through. In this story, we meet the precocious Billy Watson who will play an important role throughout the series.

Philip Battley does an excellent job as the narrator of this work.
