Queen of Air and Darkness

Kissed by Smoke was well written with lots of original imagination, but an abrupt ending full of sadness was unexpected.

She really brings the characters to life.

The weakest part of the book is the romance. There was such great potential for the love triangle. But t.he dragon is so perfect - boring I can't remember his name. Jake is the worlds worst bodyguard. Before they met he could psychically intuit when she was in trouble. After they met...not so much. Supposedly he couldn't be with her because he needs to be clear headed to guard her...but after they slept together a couple of times he not only couldn't sense when she was in trouble...but was never around her and never answered her phone call. I started wondering if after he got what he wanted he just wanted to be left alone so he could teach 5th graders piano.

Great Series

While I'm really enjoying this series, Morgan frustrates me no end waffling on whether or not to use her powers. I love that the author keeps you constantly on edge with the twists and turns in the plot. You will certainly enjoy the non - stop action.

Too much angst!!!!

the main character is annoying. I cannot understand the constant whining and denial. I keep trying to listen to this series but between this book and the last one it's hard for me to continue. How many books does it take for the main character to stop whining and enjoying her state of denial? I don't think i want to find out?

this book is worth reading the characters and story line, but the queen did her wrong I can't wait to read the next book

loved it. didn't know what was going to happen next. characters were well written. looking forward to the next part!

this book was not as good as the first 2. the MC had way too many TSTL moments and it really hurt the story. it was impossible not to feel aggravated with her actions and thought process almost constantly throughout the book. I'm hanging on and hoping the next book redeems this book in the series.
