Eli Wayne has a damn good career. Most don't even know who he is. Now, that me-myself-and I world is requiring he head off to an Indian jungle to save a few ungrateful primates from extinction. Sure, he can do it with his eyes closed. He knows the codes like the back of his hands. DNA strands with slight mutation are fixable, if smart enough to know where to look Nevertheless, divorced, looking for that one reason to care, he does not seem to have the drive anymore. He'll do it. His drive is simply gone. He doesn't need the money, either. When he meets a woman in a French airport and he can't seem to get her out of his thoughts, that missing drive returns, tenfold. It's not as if he'll break and fall the fool. No. Been there, done that. Or will he break? Once both feet touch India soul all rules are about to change. Life's goals get thrown out the window. Primates, research, lessons learned the hard way...it all goes to the wayside in a brilliant flash of despair while saving Dr. Desire Willis from a terrible fate. The world needs her. Heck, he needs her. Good grief! How did that get in his head? Dr. Desire Willis would rather be stuck with primates than humans. Humans suck. She has brilliant career in the field of genetic biology, and when India's government asks her to find twelve Rhesus monkeys with genetic inbreeding issues, how can she say no? Yes, she finds herself with a chip on her shoulder after the fiasco in the airport. Yes, she has to marry a man she's never met, the wedding to take place at the end of three weeks. Yes, she met an individual whom she hopes never to lay eyes upon again. Yes, once her feet touch India soul, she figures fate hates her far more than her family does...because she now has to work with the only person on the planet who burns her buns to ash. Eli Wayne is charming. He's brilliant. And, he's now going to have to save her from certain demise, giving him at least one redeeming quality. After all, shot in the back with an arrow isn't a real thrill for her. Nor is trekking deep into the jungle, lost and giving up all hope, all that great. Eli and Desire can't survive without each other. But can they survive the start of something consuming their will to forget what lies ahead? Can love bloom from jungle despair?
