Never wanted it to end. Made me cry
A beautifully written story that reminds of what about the importance of morals and standards. This book took me by surprise when it touched me and inspired me from more than just baseball.
I couldn’t help but take notes of all the great lessons learned.
I highly recommend!

Great Baseball Book!
Honestly, this was a great read! I’m a die hard A’s fan. I’m 46 years old. So 1960 was before my time, but I really enjoyed the book. It was fun to hear the author talk about his boyhood hero. Vernon Law was quite the player! And that Pirates team was a lot of fun to learn about.
