And into the middle of another war.

She's all they've got.
All Ypsilon cares about is her gang, her boyfriend, and having a good time.
Now she has to choose between her comfortable life and doing what's right...man does that piss her off.
Can Adal and Arija trust Ypsilon and her gang of crazies or will she throw them to the wolves?
It's The Fifth Element meets Deadpool. You'll love this fast paced cyberpunk adventure because of the snark, the cool gadgets, and the edge of your seat excitement.

This is a Hall of Doors audiobook. They can all be listened to as stand alone novels but if you want to listen to them in order here's what I suggest:
- Webley and The World Machine
- Kip and The Grinders
- Arija and The Burning City

This book picks up where the first, "Webley and the World Machine", left off, but it could be read as a standalone. Kip, the "robot boy" from "Webley", has opened a door in the Hall of Doors and literally dropped in on a young woman named Ypsilon. This new world of Taraveil is full of groups of people called Grinders and Ypsilon is one badass in her group, the Engineers.
Our friends from "Webley", Adal and Arija, have followed Kip to rescue him, but are immediately mistaken for Grinders. Trouble ensues (of course!) and the fun begins! Tons of action, great descriptions of another world, and some moments of tenderness are all found in this book. This book is almost like playing a video game, with cool action, great world building and kickass characters.
Of course, there is plenty of snark from the author, which just adds to the appeal of this book and the whole series. The narrator, Mike Sanders, does an amazing job and his voices for the various characters are perfect. His performance adds a lot to the reader's enjoyment. Even though I had previously read the ebook version of this book, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Mr. Sanders' performance.
If you love cyberpunk and just a good, fun read, grab this book and go! I can't wait to see what Mr. Chopchinski has in store for the next adventure!
Kip in trouble AGAIN!

It was awesome to rejoin Kip, Adal, and Arija in a new adventure! The last was steampunk. This time, they enter a new world of cyberpunk and team up with a fantastic grinder named Ypsilon (pronounced ip-sill-on) in a world where the ‘criminals’ are the good guys and people in charge are pure evil.
If you’re a fan of snark and characters that feel real, this book is for you. The characters are well fleshed out and the world is fascinating. I loved that we get some much loved characters in a brand new setting. Lots of fun to be had!
The Hall of Doors books can be read out of order, but I’d definitely recommended reading Webley and the World Machine first to really appreciate Kip and the Grinders!
Audio review:
This was a return from the narrator of Webley and the World Machine. I still love how he handles all the male voices, from Kip to Maza. I loved that Al’s voice had the same timber as Webley, but had a different accent.
He still tries to go a bit high for the girls, which as style choice I don’t love, but can still respect.
Ypsilon really doesn’t like that word...
