Hall of Heroes
I’ve enjoyed every book I’m read by Tony Evans, and this one was no different. Mirron Willis narrated our walk through a museum, and Scripture was used to introduce/explain the exhibits, wonderful works of art. And, yes, some folks in there (based on Hebrews 11) are not expected, but marvelously explained by God’s Word, as the Bible is a staple in Tony Evans’ books.
We were able to see the flaws in each person, as they/we are human and flaws are to be expected. Yet, we were easily shown God’s work in their lives, and asked if/how the Lord is at work in our lives. I read along while I listen, and I’m sure I’ll do it again, as the wisdom found within is amazing.
The one thing I didn’t enjoy about the performance of Mirron Willis was his pace when reading some Scripture. I bumped it up to 1.3x speed to be quicker. And there were pauses between a paragraph’s sentences that were longer than pauses between paragraphs. Aside from that, another marvelous job Mr Willis! Keep up the amazing work!
