Story line

From page one I was hooked. I love the way the story unfolds and how it explained so many different things. It wasn't just about the case itself, it had so many other aspects. At one point in my life I wanted to be a lawyer. I'm very grateful that didn't transpire and even more so after listening to this book.

A insightful and unexpectedly touching

I binged this book in one weekend. For me, it was an audio-page-turner. Despite some of the subject matter, the book was beautifully written and visually descriptive (not about the murder parts, those parts were thankfully quick). The author’s performance was engaging, well timed, and she comes off as likable and intelligent. Mostly, I really appreciate the perspective that’s offered, there are so many little cracks where humanity shines through in this otherwise devastation by story. I’m looking forward to the author’s next book.

Interesting and thought provoking

All you ever wanted to know but were unable to ask. Conti does a good job of covering all aspects of this case and other intersecting subjects.

This is a well written and captivating book. I give it my highest marks!

There is nothing to be disappointed about the book. You will be captivated start to finish.
