Florida’s West Coast is suffering from a bad case of Red Tide. The State of Florida and several Universities are attempting to find a solution to this problem that could destroy the Florida tourist economy. Sandy Mason’s favorite part-time sleuth ,Johnny Donohue, gets involved when crooked government contractors are siphoning off money from the state of Florida. Johnny, along with his beautiful Bahamian girl-friend Carmen work together in uncovering the criminals hiding in their home town. Johnny’s best buddy, ex-cop Lonnie Turner, does some old-fashioned police work to help in prosecuting some very clever thieves. Killer Tide brings us through an understanding of Red Tide , the scourge of Florida’s West Coast . Killer Tide leads us through an understanding of what Red Tide is and the conditions which make it flourish as well as the conditions that stop its spreading. The university expends millions upon millions of dollars in seeking the real causes. Follow Johnny as he bends the law in seeking the real causes of Red Tide as it ravages the tourist-based economy.

A Good Story but Virtual Voice Awful

Sandy Mason has written an interesting mystery, which I would have enjoyed much more, except the story was ruined by the numerous virtual voice errors, such as F-T for Ft (Fort), Ada for the usually pronounced A-D-A (assistant district attorney), numerous incidents of pronunciation changes for the same word, completely erroneous pronunciations, and the continuously improper phrasing.
