Ganser burnishes the dames, thugs and regular joes of the story with their own idiosyncratic traits, and listeners will find themselves laughing at Johnny's yarns about Kid's troubles, especially with a certain Miss Vincent.

Would you consider the audio edition of Kid Scanlan to be better than the print version?
