Egypt has suffered the 10 plagues promised by Moses.
The Egyptian army rushes into the desert to cut off the Hebrews' escape while the last remaining court magician has been given one final edict:
"The curse of death that has befallen the firstborn son of Pharaoh must be reversed...or else."
Be careful what you ask for....

Would you listen to Kherfin again? Why?
Yes, I would. I enjoy horror and zombie books and this could be an origin story. It gives the reader a brief glimpse into the mind of a zombie at times.Who was your favorite character and why?
Of course the royal wizard is my favorite character!! You'll just have to read it to find out why. No spoilers here! What about TW Brown’s performance did you like?
Since he is the writer, he knows the characters better than anyone. He can portray their emotions better than a narrator that doesn't know the book.If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
You've all heard of Moses, this is what happens after he left Egypt!Any additional comments?
Hope there is a second book and this is just the horigin (horror origin) story that gets it all started! I really enjoyed it!Great short story with sequel possiblities

Would you listen to Kherfin again? Why?
yes, it is a interesting short story on how man can bring doom down upon all over revenge and hatredWhat was one of the most memorable moments of Kherfin?
When the magician is forced to help the prince. Its a very bad outcome. What about TW Brown’s performance did you like?
First and foremost it was great to actually hear the author tell the story. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
As a short story, yes, but even as a full length book it would be hard not to listen in one setting as the story is building into what could be a fast paced story.Ancient Egypt first faces Moses and Now the DEAD

I loved this audiobook. I found the story captivating and well written. I just wished it was longer or had a sequel.
The narrator gave each character a distinct voice that gave life to the story. I highly recommend this story. I will definitely try other books by the author.

This is a story set in ancient Egypt. The Pharaoh’s so has died from a curse from Moses and the Hebrews. Now it is up the Pharaoh’s last remaining magician to remove the curse and return life to young Prince. This he was able to do, but at a great cost.
Nothing really stood out to me as being especially good or bad about the story itself. It was a quick straight forward listen with a fairly original story line. Was too short to keep me guessing about anything.
I do think that Brown has opened a can of worms with this story that deserves to be explored more thoroughly. I think there could be a great story in the war on Moses and the Hebrews was expanded. And the aftermath of what happen here to the Egyptian empire.
If you are a fan of TW Brown’s DEAD series. I would bet that you will like this. It oozes with his writing style and even some gore.
I believe that this is author T. W. Brown’s first time narrating an audiobook. While the performance wasn’t bad, it wasn’t superb either. Brown sounded very flat, as in not a whole lot of anything but reading the words of the story. Some listeners have a problem with this, sometime I do as well. Generally narrators will inject emotion by fluctuating their tone, speed, inflection, etc. I did hear a subtle hiss in the background that was more distracting than anything else.
