Acerca de esta escucha
In 1930s England, Jessie Harper finds herself caught up in the latest case of the Dale Street Private Investigations Agency. Along with her partner George Jenkins, and Khan, the talking cat with magical powers, she sets off to London to solve the mystery of the kidnapped pedigree cats and the wealthy socialites who have received ransom demands for their beloved pets.
But this case is unlike any they've faced before. Khan has gone undercover to gather information. Detective Sergeant Bill Roberts, Jessie’s mentor, is seconded from the Liverpool City Police to lead the investigation in London.
As they delve deeper into the case, they discover a web of deceit and danger that threatens to unravel everything they know. The stakes are high as they race against time to find the missing cats before it's too late. The team quickly finds itself in over their heads as it navigates the dangerous streets of Clerkenwell, London. But with Khan's help and Detective Sergeant Roberts' expertise, the team starts to piece together the clues that will lead to the kidnappers.
With its blend of paranormal intrigue, cozy mystery elements, much Khan humour, and romantic tension between Jessie and George, this fourth instalment in the Jessie Harper series is sure to captivate listeners until the very end.

A Charming Mystery
I was very entertained by this latest story featuring Jessie Harper and company. I enjoyed the fact that Khan played an even more important and active role in solving the mysteries. I appreciated the convoluted mystery which expanded as the characters worked to solve it. I liked the new characters which helped Jessie, Khan, and company in their investigations. I'm looking forward to more stories featuring these characters. I enjoyed Virginia Ferguson's narration as she provided various voices for the different characters, and her performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

Enjoyable mystery in a delightful series
This book is the 4th in the Jessie Harper Paranormal Cozy Mystery series by KJ Cornwall. Set in the 1930’s Jessie Harper and her business partner George Jenkins, head to London on a new case. The Dale Street Private Investigation Agency is hired to track down the culprits who are kidnapping pedigree cats from wealthy owners. Jessie and her team including Khan (the magical talking cat) investigate this tangled case. This book features Khan in all his splendid snarkiness, going undercover. The book has a good plot, lots of humor, twists and a bit of romance. The narration by Virginia Ferguson is excellent.

A 5 star amateur sleuth mystery
Khan's Clerkenwell Catnapping Caper (A Jessie Harper Paranormal Cozy Mystery), my fifteenth read from author Stephen Bentley, the first writin under the name Kj Cornwall. Set in 1930s Liverpool, the book is a delightful, amateur sleuth mystery that draws you in deeper and deeper with every word written, very different than Bentley's other books. I look forward to the next book in the series as soon as I get it. "I received an Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
