Being so focused on her career and her goal of trying to be the youngest partner at her law firm, Alexis wasn’t looking for love, that was until she bumped into Khalil Andrews a well known drug dealer who’s trying to become a businessman and he changed her whole mindset around. She went from a career driven law abiding woman to a woman who is willing to do anything to make sure her man and his freedom is not in jeopardy.
Khalil Andrews was well known in the streets of LA he was a low key kingpin who is the biggest playboy known in the streets but he’s trying to build his brand and become a legitimate businessman, he wasn’t thinking about settling down not yet anyway, that is until he crosses paths with Alexis and her ride or die personality reels him in and woke let him go, but will her past come back and be more than he bargained for?
Harlee, Alexis’ best friend is she’s a personal chef to the star and about her bag, she’s in a relationship that’s so full of infidelity and disrespect but she’s finally had enough and gets the courage to leave. She’s so into her own world that she didn’t realize that her soulmate was right in front of her. Will she give into her newfound love or will someone from her past come in and jeopardize it.

I could not do it!!!
This book and the narration was horrible. It was a waste of my money. After getting over the narrator voice not matching the characters. the storyline for Alex's was the same outcome in every relationship. No growth of the characters after characters 20 I just end the book I couldn't take anymore.
