GREAT TEAR JERKER

Man this writer is on fire 🔥. Great story line and narrators. GOTTA FINISH IT THRU, it'll have you in tears and suspense of how the emotional roller-coaster it is.

Enjoyable author, narrators, and captive story

It's been several months since I've listened to book 1. So when I started this one it was wonderful that it picked up where the other left off, but also the story was so fluent I didn't have to guess or think back to the previous one.

MMC is still strong and self sufficient but can't see the games others are playing.Still vanilla and soft romance.

Kept Bride by Alta Hensley (book 2 of the The Secret Bride series)

This is book 2 of The Secret Bride series by Alta Hensley. It’s an intriguing story with lots of drama, but definitely a well written saga. I would highly recommend it except that book 1 and 2 do not really have an ending. It’s just a continuation and both ends with a cliffhanger. I hate when a story does this type of ending and either have to just say forget it because I don’t care how it ends and won’t buy the next book or buy the next book and hope that the story finally has a real ending. This is the reason why I didn’t give it a five star rating.

It was an intriguing story but i just could not enjoy the book thanks to the male narrator. He was so over the top, trying so hard to be throaty and intimidating. It was just too much.
