He's out of sight...and out of his mind!
Don't look now, but a mad scientist has discovered the secret of (temporary) invisibility. He's not planning to sneak into the movies, either. He's mad, remember? He wants...revenge!
It doesn't take a genius to see right through the faded fiend's transparent scheme: a festival of murder, destruction, and cheap practical jokes.
But only one man can clean those unsightly stains on the fabric of society....
Kent Montana.
He's the descendant of Scottish nobility, or so he claims. He's an out-of-work actor. He never gets a good script...but his life is more exciting and outrageous than any science fiction movie. In fact, his life is a science fiction movie....

That goes here as well. Kent does find himself embroiled in a showdown with a scientist who has a particular revenge beef, and can become indivisible. No, Invisible. Like that Claude Rains, dude. Kent mugs his way through the story and does his best to stop this unseen fiend, and that is the beauty of these books. The pure silliness of them, it has a serious tongue planted in cheek mode that really works. If it was too dopey it wouldn't work in the same way it would fail if it was too serious. This is one excellent balancing act between spray can cheese and gourmet cheese. The book is fun, and I cannot wait for the next episode!
I really have to wonder how Josh Brogadir can speak with his tounge buried so deeply in his cheek. He does a great job, and plays his role perfectly. If I enjoyed him in the last book then I loved him here. He has the patter down and the attitude is solidified. I think he realy has a handle on how to play this series out, and I cannot wait for the next book to appear!!! I hope they do all 6!!! Even though I did receive a promo code for this review it in no way influenced my considerations of the material, and in fact, inspired me to be more honest. In fact, getting a code generally makes me harsher as a reviewer as I am more often concerned what someone like Me will decide based on my review.
