Keeping Up With Camille

Hill Bentley (Binky) Pinkerton is a little-known academic writer who is in Paris to add the finishing touches to his biography of Gustave Flaubert. At dinner one evening he is seated next to a beautiful young French woman who engages him in conversation about her passion—fast cars. Though suspicious of her intentions since he is decades older than she, he agrees to accompany her to an auction of exotic sports cars.
Thus begins a rather unlikely relationship that includes a romp throughout France and Italy. Meanwhile, Binky is pursued by another woman who happens to be about his age, an English aristocrat with a penchant for vintage champagne. Her goal? Matrimony.
Camille, on the other hand, has no interest in matrimony. She is, however, tempted by younger men who prove to be either abusive or duplicitous.
Undaunted by these barriers to bliss, Binky is determined to press on.
