In Kaiju Task Force: Code Omega, the world is thrown into chaos when a massive rift opens off the coast of Alaska, unleashing Omega—a towering, eight-story Kaiju with black scales, a glowing red diamond on her forehead, and three deadly red slits on either side of her neck that fire devastating energy beams.
Omega comes from an alternate Earth where dinosaurs never went extinct, instead evolving into monstrous creatures after being mutated by a radioactive meteor shower. Now, she's entered our world on a destructive path, wiping out cities from Alaska to New York, searching for a place to lay her eggs, and leaving the military powerless to stop her.

I wrote Kaiju Task Force: Code Omega for my nephew Blake, who has a form of autism and an unstoppable love for all things Kaiju. At the time, I was hunting for books he’d enjoy and came up empty. Did I dig deep enough? Probably not. But instead of continuing my search like a sane person, I decided to write a Kaiju story myself. No big deal, right?
Armed with zero experience and a "wing-it-like-Stephen-King" attitude, I dove in. And guess what? Blake loved it! That’s all the validation I needed. Sure, there are things I could have done better (in this book and the two that followed), but it was an incredible learning experience—and seeing my nephew enjoy the story made it all worth it.
Huge shoutout to Christian Boswell, the voice wizard who narrated the audiobook. He brought these massive monsters and epic battles to life in a way that made me want to grab some popcorn and listen along. Seriously, the man deserves an award for making my words sound cooler than they are.
So, if you like Kaiju chaos, heartwarming family inspiration, and a bit of good ol’ trial-and-error storytelling, give Kaiju Task Force: Code Omega a read (or a listen). And hey, leave a review while you’re at it—I can’t keep leaving reviews for myself forever.
Sincerely,
The author who winged it and somehow survived the Kaiju madness.
