Just the Right Amount of Regret

Attorney Harry Walters made the trip from San Diego to Santa Barbara with mixed feelings. His ex-partner was dead-murdered. As troubling as it was to do the right thing and attend the funeral, the probability of running into his ex-wife was even worse. Harry was still bitter. He consoles himself by believing he can just quietly slip in and then out of town. But when his old partner's wife pleads for his help, he can't refuse and decides to stay.
