He’s not just a bachelor up for auction …
He’s her sexy birthday gift for the weekend.
Georgia Brooks had no intention of bidding on a bachelor at the charity auction, but her sister has other ideas and gifts her with a man for her birthday weekend. But not just any man … Drew Daniels. A hot, gorgeous lawyer who makes her want to shed her good-girl image and learn all sorts of new and risqué things.
Attorney Drew Daniels is more than willing to introduce the beautiful Georgia to her naughtier side. Their weekend together is steamy and romantic … and it doesn’t hurt that a rival of Drew’s has his eye on Georgia, too. Stirring the other man’s jealousy is a fun side benefit.
Their tryst should have been just about pleasure, but Drew finds he’s attracted to more than Georgia’s outer beauty and he wants to keep her as his own. When Drew suggests they continue their secret affair, Georgia is too smitten to say no. Even if her parents expect her to marry her lawyer father’s right-hand man.
Georgia finds herself falling for Drew harder and faster than she could have imagined. Until she discovers a choice he’s forced to make that has the potential to break her heart.

Wonderful story

Great story, my hold up was the female Narrator.. just my opinion only, her voice was overly seductive, exaggerated in alot of areas that took away from what was, regular conversation.
Great storyline

In this case I mostly didn’t like the male narrators voice for drew (personal preference) I feel like it felt very proper lol and just not what I would expect from the character being described especially during the bedroom scenes.

Georgia always had a reason as to why she allowed herself to be a push over. “People are watching I won’t do it here” “I’m not like my sister” “I don’t want anyone to be upset with me and I’m not in the mood right now” … girl seriously 😒
She was WAY too worried about what her parents wanted and at some point i wish the author would endorse seeking therapy.
I love that Drew became the person that gave her the encouragement she needed but it’s essentially saying she needed a man to boost her confidence in her own self worth when her sister had always pushed for her to take charge of her own life.
Lastly at the end the authors push all the blame onto her mother yet her father didn’t speak up on his child’s behalf once. In chapter one the mother AND FATHER greets her and pushes Elliot onto her and she says the FATHER “always expects her to be the epitome of the perfect society princess” so I didn’t like that by the end it turned into her mother is vindictive and evil and the dad is innocent.
All of a sudden when the mother isn’t present he’s very proud of her for not allowing people to walk over her? When Georgia’s pov tells us through out the story how he doesn’t call out the mother on what she says or does? Absolutely not!
The father isn’t innocent in anything and I hate that they villainized the mother. Not one of my favorites from the series.
