I loved this book! Especially the part where Barney & Sandy worked at the same summer camp as o did about 10 years later! We have a couple of the same friends.

Great story

I enjoyed reading the story of hiking the trail but also all the characters' stories that the author met along the way. well written and interesting, especially for non-fiction.

A Must Read!

I could not wait for my daily commute to and from work so I could listen and immerse myself in the adventures of the thru hikers featured in this amazing story. Mr. Mann is a natural born story teller and kept me spellbound for the entire book. As a thru hiker dreamer, this book provided even more fuel to my dream and goal of hiking the PCT!

It Grows On You

Starts out a little disjointed, but that is probably appropriate. Matches how people from disparate backgrounds tend to come together on trail. Well done, I'm inspired to further consider my dream of more than day hikes.
