"Jonah and the Whale", excerpted from David Angus’ Moses and Other Stories from the Old Testament, introduces young listeners to Jonah, that well-known biblical figure whose refusal to follow God’s orders led him to be cast off a ship and held in the belly of a whale for three days and three nights until he repented, and agreed to accede to the Lord’s plan for him.
Voice actor Kerry Shale has a warm, friendly voice which kids will love, and his pacing is perfect: very even and easy to follow. For little learners, this is a great introduction to a classic religious figure.
