DAMASCUS COUTDOWN

Israel successfully launches a first strike on Iran, taking out all of their nuclear sites and six of their nuclear warheads. American president William Jackson threatens to support a U.N. Security Council resolution condemning the Jewish State for unprovoked and unwarranted acts of aggression. And the Twelfth Imam prepares to order a genocidal retaliation.

Meanwhile, CIA operative David Shirazi has infiltrated the Iranian regime and intercepted top secret intelligence indicating that two Iranian nuclear warheads survived the attack and have been moved to a secure and undisclosed location. In danger not only from the ongoing war between Israel and Iran but also from the increasingly hostile governments in multiple countries, Shirazi and his team are in a race against time to find the remaining nuclear warheads before the most cataclysmic event in the history of the Middle East comes to pass.

This is a nonstop series the writing and the narration were was excellent.
I couldn't put it down.

Riveting storyline

Excellent listen; enjoyed having all 3 books in 1 book so that the story just kept going. The performance was excellent; I found myself yelling at the characters, as I do when watching dramas on TV. Great to read/listen to books that line up with the Word!

Completely Unexpected

When I picked this series up it was a bit out of desperation, I wanted something that was a good action/thriller but was tired of the over the top violence, blood, guts and foul language. I mean, really, how many times do you really need to use an f-bomb? Is it supposed to be a sign that it’s a “grown up” novel?

Anyway, what I got was great writing, fantastic research, some brilliant scenarios, some pretty darn good thinking points on Middle East politics and a good story. And, wow, it was a FAST listen- I mean through all three of the books. This is one of the best deals you’ll get for a credit!

Well done and worth the time.

Couldn't put it down.

Exciting stuff. It made me look at current events in a new light, i.e., it made sense of current events in the Middle East. You can have peace with your enemies. The choices are reconciliation or annihilation. Iran speaks peace and we Westerners think "reconciliation"; but they really mean "annihilation." I was especially intrigued with the fate of Damascus.

Excellent Book

This is book 3 of three. I can’t not put these books down!
The plot is so believable. The characters are well described. The excitement builds as you continue reading. I was captivated during the start of the war. The wording made me feel like I was right there with the characters!
The author well researched the subject material. Even though the dates are dated for now, (2015 ish) it is also a very likely futuristic books. He describes very well the role The Mahdi will play in future world of Islam. To the Christian He will be the Anti-Christ, most likely. The author goes into great detail as to why the Islamic faith are even now looking for their “messiah”, where as Christians are looking for the return of their Messiah.
I highly suggest this book. It has espionage, loyalty, betrayal, excitement and fully entertains you as you read it.
The man who reads it on Audio is EXCELLENT. His voice changed well and effortlessly with each character.

Lengthy, yet it held my attention

Characters were thoroughly developed. Most surprising was the fact that the story line and setting were successfully conveyed without profanity. How nice! Other books in this genre use language (which is most likely realistic to true life). Which isn't necessary.
Finally, I wasn't expecting all of the Christian conversions in the book complete with Bible quotes. Wow! That was wonderful. Thank you to the author for stepping out of mainstream CIA stories to develop a thought-provoking story line.
