One of the 'books that lay in my attic', this story is one the first I wrote and saved on a computer. Over the years I have attempted to find time for edits, but none has come my way. I'm publishing this original version, first written in 2005, and ask readers to accept it is unedited before reading.

It is now September, 2021, and I've uploaded this story for others to read, as it contains some messages for society and creatives. Perhaps once I retire I may revisit Jody for a thorough grammatical edit. For now, I hope you'll enjoy the story in its raw form.

This is the story of a young girl, transported to another world where she meets five warriors. Together they are to find ingredients for a potion that will convert their beloved leader, Heevy, back to good, after years of him being possessed and threatening the lives of the innocent forest beings.
