So good!! It took a bit to get into the story as Anna’s ridiculous and prissy character is rather annoying… but that changes soon enough. Once she gets to Cornwall, her ridiculousness becomes humorous instead of annoying, and actually quite endearing. I loved watching her transformation, and her sense of usefulness and accomplishment as she learns to work. Her character growth is heartwarming and incredibly well done.

This is just my type of book. It’s engaging and fun, with a sweet romance and great characters. I loved the out-of-her-element, city-girl-in-the-country storyline. I loved all of the cousins and small-town-living. I loved watching Anna discover what really matters in life. So so good!

There is no foul language, sex, or violence. The romance is limited to lightly descriptive kisses. There is no real message of faith or God.
