The reader should be ashamed!

A really good book destroyed by the ignorance of Judaism, Hebrew, name pronuntiation, etc.
If the reader did not know how to pronounce theological, Jewish, etc. words he should NOT have taken the job. What a shame!
Books like this should be read by the author or a well-informed person.
The book needs to be re-recorded.

Very specific focus on the modern messianic Jewish communities, and the details of issues facing them, yet sprinkled with valuable and more generally applicable insights

The reader killed the experience

When it comes to these types of books, an experienced reader is needed, one who is somewhat familiar with the topic and, in this case, with Hebrew words.
The reader mispronounced every Hebrew word used, as well as the names of important, and well-known representatives of Messianic Judaism.
Please, don’t just read for the paycheck. Be honest enough to review the book and realize you are not the right person for the job.
I enjoyed the content, but every time I listen to this book, the experience is ruined by the awful mistakes made by the reader.

excellent review of the Jewish roots

Excellent review to the Jewish roots to faith in Yeshua. compelling and interesting read. and Dr Juster keeps it interesting .

Partial antinomianist teaching and gatekeeping of God's commandments.

The author directly contradicted Zechariah 14:16, which talks about a future prophecy when all Nations will visit Jerusalem to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. Also, Micah 4:2-3 talks about the Torah law being followed in the millennium kingdom.

The New Testament says Gentiles don't have to follow all of the law in order to be in communion with God, but that doesn't change the fact that it also clearly defines sin as violation of the law in 1 John 3:4. And in Matthew 5:19 Jesus said that you can go ahead and violate the least of the laws, teach others to violate them, and you will still be saved, but you will be the least in heaven as the result. That is an eternal damage that believers are doing to their standing in heaven as a result of partial antinomianism.

The author presented an extremely short and weak case against the one law doctrine while failing to address the vast majority of Scripture that supports it. Paul never discouraged people from being circumcised for reasons other than legalism, and the author even admitted that it's just his opinion that Paul did. That was very unprofessional. Christians are grafted into Israel, and there is no reason to believe that they are under two different sets of laws.

Jesus clearly said that not a single letter will disappear from the law until the end of the universe, and until everything is accomplished. The universe did not end at the cross, and Jesus is coming back, so we know not everything is accomplished. Believers should be encouraged to follow more of God's laws, not less. And of course, gentile believers should never be forced to obey the lesser laws, such as resting on the Sabbath and abstaining from forbidden foods, but they should be made aware of the definition of sin and its eternal consequences, even for those who are saved.

Other than the false teaching, the narrator also heavily mispronounced many of the Hebrew words. But other than those two issues, the book is a very interesting and delightful insight into modern Messianic Judaism, and I would have given it five stars if it weren't for the false teachings and the unprofessionally poor pronunciation of Hebrew.
