People only believe in what they see, with a rational attitude, which is why they have always denied the possibility of other kinds of lives. I was one of those people.
One of the most important customs of the Colombian people is the oral tradition. From our ancestors, it has become customary to narrate both fictional and real stories.
In this audiobook you will find popular stories, as well as those from my imagination, in which magic, folk medicine, customs, tales, mythology, proverbs, and legends are mixed, among other narratives, which in one way or another, have helped build our history.
Precisely for this reason, it is essential to rescue and prevent this type of customs from being lost, even when we are aware of the path that others traveled to reach where we are today and thus build a future.
We must not forget that popular culture is a basic factor that allows us to understand and channel our life; hence the importance of working on it.
It is necessary to bear in mind that a great part of the myths and legends of the country were inherited from the Spanish culture, since the Conquest; also brought to us by the African slaves, without leaving aside those that are absolutely ours, that is to say, of the diverse cultures and Colombian aboriginal subcultures.
