Jamaica Biltmore; Partners is fast paced, quick witted novel about a New York private eye who drags his son to Key West and Las Vegas in order to convince his son being a private eye is better then going to college. Joe agrees to try one case during the summer as a test between college and a career with his dad. Jamaica Biltmore agrees to the one case test but exclaims, “No guns for part time work.” Specializing mostly in finding missing people, the case of the a life time takes Jamaica and Joe on a roller coaster ride through the streets of New York, to the Caribbean, Key West and Las Vegas. In order to convince Joe that being a private eye is a career path to take, he enlist the help from a New York City Police Captain, a local mobster, an ex-CIA operative, an FBI agent and an Admiral in the United States Navy. The “test case” starts as any normal missing person’s case until his client is crushed to death by a dump truck of hot asphalt ten minutes after meeting with Jamaica and Joe. The case turns into a deadly mystery and the father son team must now rely on each other more then they ever expected. The novel picks up speed from that first encounter and does not stop until we arrive back in New York City where Jamaica’s son, Joe, must make his decision about college or a life as a private eye.
