While conducting his mission to thwart a potential CONUS attack, the powers that be decide to seize the opportunity to target the elusive military leader. This fictionalized version of a true event places the Man from Orange front and center of a political assassination in a "What if?" tale giving readers a sense of what could have been a behind the curtains look at the final moments.
