He was a creature of stitched-flesh and stolen life, a monster haunted by the ghost of his creator. Seeking only the peace of oblivion in an alpine storm, he finds not an end, but an impossible new beginning.

Hurled back to the dawn of time by a bolt of unnatural green lightning, he awakens in a savage, prehistoric world. The air is thick, the jungle is alive, and the ground shakes with the footsteps of giants. Here, in a land of savage beauty and brutal laws, he is not the only monster. To survive, he must battle terrifying, intelligent predators and face the apex king of a forgotten age.

All the while, the specter of Victor Frankenstein remains tethered to his soul, a constant, mocking voice pushing him to embrace the violent nature he was built for. Trapped between a savage new reality and the familiar damnation of his creation, he must fight not only the beasts of the jungle, but the demon within himself. Can he survive this lost world without losing the last vestiges of his tortured humanity?

The book is wonderful. If Edgar Rice Bougherous had written about Frankenstein’s monster this would be the imaginative enthralling product. Two enormous creatures from American pop culture battle in a mysterious prehistoric land in the middle of a dangerous lightning storm. Shades of Disney aside, if you enjoy “pulp culture” then this is a tale for you! Easily one of Lester Wolfe’s best books.

Pulp Fiction Frankenstein!
