It's been a rough couple of years for Cailey Kantor. Facing her first Christmas alone and bad financial news, she prays for an angel to fix her problems. Deducted 1 star due to bad narrator

This would have been so much BETTER with a good narration.

I will be getting next in series in hopes it has a different narrator.

Very touching, full of intrigue and a Beautiful love story! Gabriel and Kaylie overcome so many obstacles on their journey to a storybook happily ever after. Such a great audio book! Can't wait to see what happens next!

Enjoyed the story

I enjoyed the story but had a more difficult time listening to the narrator. I know she tried, truly. Maybe this one just wasn't for me.

Clever Vampire Romance

It's Christmas and Cailey is alone. Her mother has died, she is divorced. Sitting at home she gets drunk watching It's a Wonderful Life and heads to the bridge thinking she has nothing to live for and everything would be better if she died. She is brutally attacked and all she can say is Gabriel Blautsauger bit her, she hates him.

Someone is out to destroy Gabriel Blautsauger by framing him of serial killings and illegal turnings. ut the last victim lived because Gabe's sister figured out whose blood was in Cailey. Gabe corrected the bad turn and took Cailey as his.

This is a cute story. The vampires don't sparkle but they are not vicious either... well there is the good ones and the bad ones. There is a lot of wist and turns, many surprises and the romance is hot as well.

I loved Clarke Bellflower's voice. It is sweet, unique and she did do a few extra voices for the characters. Her accents for the vampires was cute too. I think she really made the story.

Distracting narration

There’s an odd cadence to the narrator’s performance, especially with the protagonist. Not sure how to describe except to say that she dragged out vowels...if I didn’t enjoy the story as much as I did, I would have given up. That being said, the tendency practically became nails on a chalkboard for me.

Surprisingly wonderful story. This book is amazing! Love between vampire and our world leaves the reader desiring more and more. I am not a paranormal or vampire reader, however this one definitely opened up my list of options. The writer is well read, and has done her research in the field. There is a strong knowledge base within this book. Reader was great.

Compelling characters..

What I really liked about this book is that you get a detailed view of a vampire as she is turning from a human to a vampire. Narration was very good. Highly recommend this book!!
