Met my needs very well. I want to go on to more conversational Italian.
I can practice a little daily.

Only one unit

This is only 130 minute unit. Not an entire book. I should’ve read the description more thoroughly.

...and we are off...

I am traveling to Italy in the Spring and these lessons will be very helfpul when navigating the country. Looking forward to the next lessons.

Finally! I'm going to learn a language!

Would you consider the audio edition of Italian Phase 1, Unit 01 to be better than the print version?

Not sure that there is such a thing, but I definitely thing learning this way is the only way I can learn a language. The textbook method, for me, just is not as practical as learning this way. After all, as children we learn to speak before we learn to write!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely, I was learning the language so fast but I made myself go back and practice a few times to actually grasp it!

Seriously recommend the audio book way of learning language, and this one is excellent! I'm buying the full line for Italian! So excited. I've always wanted to learn a language and now, I know I'm going to!!!

great teaching style makes a difference

The narrator's voice was pleasant and easy to understand as were the voices the listener is to repeat. The break down of sounds in each word help tremendously. I also liked how the phases are reviewed intermittently to help refresh items already covered to solidify the learning. I am looking forward to the rest of the Units I have already purchased.

I like the lesson, but needs improvement

goes fast hard to get all information, needs a longer lesson w/ more response times

I found it very helpful and clear with the translation. I also noticed that I would choke up when asked to repeat the phrase back. It's good practice and helpful learning tips!

I definitely learned the lesson but it was too slow and that made it boring. It did not inspire me to learn more.

Could be good if this were chapter 1 of many

I feel cheated. I bought a book and got a chapter if that...More like a page.
