After Plum Lockhart's job as a travel magazine editor is eliminated in corporate cuts, she decides she's sick of cold winters in NYC and fruitless swiping on dating apps - what she needs is a dramatic change of scenery. The main characters narcissism is a bit much.
I don't typically write reviews, but the main character's narcissistic, entitled, and snobbish behavior is a bit much to listen to. I'm only a few chapters in, so I'm hoping there is going to be some growth as Plum realizes that the world does not revolve around her. If not, I don't think I can finish this book even though with the exception of the main character, it is well written and the narrator does a wonderful job.
