Great story poor narration

Dislike virtual voice! Ugh! It was a poignant tale of social injustices but the narration was terrible….

Confusing narration.

I didn’t like the narration. The story seemed to be pretty good, but i just gave up on the book without finishing it.

It Happened In Silence is a great story about life in Appalachia in the 1920s. Karla M Jay is a gifted author who wrote this tale from the heart. The truths of the history in that era are evident throughout. However, doo not purchase the Audio version. The virtual voice is one monotonous blur. There are many colorful characters in the story, but the audio never diferentiates. Buy the book so that you can give them each their own voice!
