In the Bible, the Apostle John twice says that "God is Love." Nowhere else do we find those precise words.

Most people assume that simply means that God loves us. After all, the Bible says that in other places. But, while it is true that God loves us, this book suggests that John did not just mean that. It suggests that John's meaning might go well beyond that.

Excellent!! This book opened my own eyes to understand both God and Love in a new way. The author beautifully blends scripture, the work of theologians and certain foundational texts to support the concepts in the book. Both my faith and spiritual understandings have been enhanced. I usually hear the common phrase, “God is love.” However, this book demonstrated that there is much more to learn beyond that phrase through credible evidence and a knowledgeable author. Excellent audiobook.
