Is God a Socialist?

This is a subject I have been led to discuss, which I know will bring me much controversy, but I think we are in dire need of a dialogue on the subject from a biblical perspective. There has been so much propaganda on the subject, I feel that first thing we need to do is define the subject. The bible says, how can two walk together except they be agreed? And one thing I find, especially here in America, everyone has their interpretation of what a socialist, or a capitalist is. So, the first few chapters will deal strictly with this, then hopefully after we are on the same path, we can have a biblical discussion on the subject.
