Six Gay boys, some who are friends, some who are brothers, are living their lives surrounded by the woods and waters in the community of Ironton in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Mountain biking, camping, boating, swimming, and activities associated with the north woods make their lives exciting. At the same time issues develop that require them to come together to defend against evildoers. A balance between hijinks and the resolve to solve internal and external issues explores the character of these teens.
Into their lives, two Trans teens are introduced. Come along as the boys accept these two, help them, and integrate them into their lives.
Guided and held together by nurturing parents and in particular Micah, a combat-wounded Marine veteran who uses prosthetic below the knee limbs, the boys show the resolve and strength of character needed to protect one another.
Possible triggers include the physical abuse of a teen that is stopped. Also, references to sexual abuse of teens captured by sex trafficker's is mentioned. All situations are treated carefully and in a nongraphical manner.
Characters from my books in this series, Four For All, and Saving Timmy appear in Ironton Boys. Reading the previous two stories is not necessary to enjoy this book.
