I liked book 1, which prompted me to try book 2. However I found the story a bit drawn out. I do like the story, but parts of the book seemed to dwell a little too long in certain places.

A LOVE IT

Great supernatural read. One girl who risk it all to save her best and her 1st love. Everyone keeps telling her what to do but at the end, it's hard to trust.
My favorite characters are Dominick and Tray. It's obvious who she will choose but you never know.

can't wait to listen to third book !!!!

This series is sooo good!
I was hooked from the beginning of this second book.
The narrator brought everything to life.

Performance was great, story only ok.

If you like mostly teenage first love, first times and heavy panting then this is the book for you. The plot is almost non existent. There is 80 percent descriptions of lust and only maybe 20 of actual story. The biggest problem I have with this story is it wasn't finished. It was intentionally left as a climactic cliffhanger to guarantee you have to buy the next book to maybe get to a conclusion.

Oh Agony..

Omg!! I don’t even know what to say story is fine .. just the MC is very very ... veryyyyyy stupid.. bad decisions.. and foolish mindset.. she’s just a mess and it’s actually hard to listen when you know it’s gunna end badly for her. Other than her being a complete idiot I liked it.

Sigh...

This narrator.. she is hysterical at the wrong time, every sentence her voice goes from regular to shrill to panicked..

crazy

I can't imagine being Jemma! I remember being a teenager! I can not even imagine having to deal with all that she's dealing with. It already feels like Supernaturals are coming at you normally as a teenager and then when you become suddenly become one and hell is against you .....or for you..... crazy!

reader is distracting

these books are quick but good the reader draws out her words and it's very distracting after you get used to it its easier to focus on the story itself. like all series it just ends at a cliffhanger which makes you come back for more and buy the next book! they seem more like short stories to me they don't seam very long and not much character development but a good young adult book and easy read. I play them while I'm working so perfect for that background noise to manage my focus. my credit comes tomorrow and onto the 3rd book!
