Jill writes about her life and her adventures as an explorer in a way that inspires you to forget about your mundane day job and dream about finding your own destiny as an explorer.

As a fellow female adventure lover, books like this are a treasure. Unfortunately they are few and hard to find. please write more, Jill!

Thrilling

Loved Jill’s voice as she narrated her own story - at times thrilling, other times heartbreaking. What a wonderful life, full of adventure and passion - a fantastic journey which most of us will never take, but one which we can regardless enjoy vicariously through her book!!

Thinks a lot of her self, but she did a lot too

Overall, it's a great book. I don't agree with all of her choices, bit I didn't have to live with them so that's ok. She has done and accomplished a lot and is to be admired. I think she glosses over a lot of the details and people, to include her ex-husbamd, that helped her get where she is. If you like dive stories and one sided perspectives on marital fights this is just for you. If you can overlook her personal details and enjoy hearing about a diver who has accomplished a lot against the odds, you'll also enjoy this book as well.

More caves, less relationships

Really enjoyed the parts where Jill talked about the caves and her experiences there. As someone who will never dive, these parts were really fascinating. Where the book went off-track was with her deep dives into her relationships. Her husbands, her friends, her diving partners, etc were mostly filler and wasted on me.

Hold your breath

Amazing book. Jill’s thrillling adventures underwater are spectacularly described. The author takes you together on her journey to the bowels of our planet and her personal development and self discovery. It took 3 minutes to hook me up.

Wonderful autobiography

As a diver I really enjoyed this tale of exploration and self discovery. It allowed me to vicariously enjoy the most dangerous of adventure sports.

really easy to listen to most time. great book for road trip especially somewhere aquatic. It was slow sometimes but well worth a suspense and intimately detailed more than I expected. thank you

Outstanding From Start to Finish

I cannot say enough about this book. it takes a lot to keep me captivated and I couldn't put this down.
