Not in the correct genre

This was not a suspense thriller book. I feel like the ending fell flat. The author tried to build a level of suspense by what could happen, even in suggesting a wendigo as playing a part in the book, but it was just a brief side discussion and nothing else was ever said about it. It was just a missing person book. kind of disappointed.

Not a thriller or suspense

This was more of a stressful annoyance plot than a suspense thriller, specially by main character “Sarah”. I found her to be very emotional, not sure if author meant her to be such! or this is how the author writes her stories… This results in excessive stress and annoyance, versus making a point. The narrator did & excellent job of presenting it. Also there were sections of story that didn’t need to be there.

Keeps you guessing!

There's we're some surprises and turns I didn't expect. I thought the characters were well described.

Sketchy Format

Once again, a promising plot that never developed fully. Author just skips over opportunities to develop depth of story.

I listen to three audio books a week and did not find any real OMG moments. I will say the narration was very well done.
