Mispronounced names and places
The narrator needs to learn at least anglicized pronunciation of French. The mangling of prominent names of generals was very distracting. “oo” replaced “o” in so many of them. “DOOgoal” instead of DeGaulle would have him turning in his grave. And what is the COOtentan peninsula? I don’t think I would like to stay in a “OOtel,” either.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and especially liked the growth of the characters as the war progressed from Sark Island to include action throughout the whole world.
