To defeat the vrag, I must march into the dark heart of Telos.
Just a few short weeks ago, I was Cal Newhart. An ex-marine struggling to adjust to the realities of civilian life.
Now, I am the Paladin. A mythical warrior of vaunted strength and ability, able to summon armor and weapons in the blink of an eye.
An elven princess summoned me to the magical continent of Telos. A goddess has charged me with defeating the demonic vrag from across the sea.
Fortunately, I'm not alone. A stern yet beautiful Valkyrie warrior, a seductive dark princess, and an innocent elven spell-caster will help me along my journey.
And I'm going to need all the help I can get.
In order to defeat the vrag, first I must enter the kingdom of darkness to raise an army of monsters.
It's a bloody job, but someone has to do it.

Another great addition to a great Isekai series!
Roland Carlsson continues with book 2 in a great Isekai story focusing on a paladin MC. The group dynamics continue to develop as all of them work toward getting better, especially the MC . As with all of Roland's stories, each member of the group brings something to the table and benefits the MC and world as well. Overall the story is well written and I look forward to books 3 and 4 in the series. Audio Version: Marcus Jahn and Sarah Goldstein did a great jopb together as always.

Pretty good overall
I really like the story, the characters and their development. This is a solid second edition and I enjoyed them getting into Andhera. I'm ready for the next episode. Though I really like the story, I find that the narration is a little over the top. It's still enjoyable and both narrators have good voices but need more practice on where/when the emphasis goes and where/when it's not needed. Otherwise it's good stuff.

I have been waiting for this to come out every since I finished book one. I don't think I can listen to this book without the door narration it makes the story really come alive.. Not to diminish the plot And adventure that comes along with it The book still keeps my attention And leaves me waiting for more
