For foreign students coming to the United States for the first time - it might be a new experience if they are from a different culture. This book is written by the author who sent his son from an Asian country to the USA for higher studies in Engineering- The initial experience and later when the author himself migrated to the United States, the exposure, made him feel the need to help and guide the students, coming from different countries.
The author also consulted with a few Americans and compiled the book based on their input.
It starts with the diverse nationalities of students coming to the US for higher education - also gives a brief History of the country, the Government setups, and Certain other topics helpful for staying here with a good understanding of the culture and the social climate. There is also a section on 'safety aspects' and cautioning them against a few legal violations.
However, for foreign students, an adventurous, interesting, and future-building journey awaits them in the United States.
