I have other books by the same author, so this one was a must for me. I love how this author focuses on people like me with the endomorph body type, which requires extra effort to get fit, and she perfectly knows how to guide you.

I will use this great audiobook to make tweaks to my diet and make it more efficient. I’m doing well with weight loss, but I know I can do even better, and I didn’t know I could fast some days and eat regularly on others, something I’ll be implementing right away. I’m grateful the author included a downloadable PDF with references from this book so I can learn more about important topics.

This audiobook is honestly a super helpful listen for anyone who’s tired of the same information. Bridget Blanton breaks down why typical advice like “just eat healthy and exercise” never really works for everyone, and gets into how meal timing can seriously affect those late-night glucose spikes that keep you wired instead of sleepy. I know for a fact if I eat carbs before bed I will get the worst night of sleep. Sleep is so important to me and there is so many helpful tips on that from how we eat. Also really loved the narrator’s tone and voice. Really easy to listen to and calming.

As a woman with an endomorph body type and other weight/age related issues, this book was a MUST for me! And I was not disappointed at all! Bridget give sage advice, consistently addressing excuses and "reasonings" we have used for ages, and explains the differences with this body type when it comes to eating, planning, even exercise. The exercise part was my favorite part, actually, as it explained not only why past exercises didn't work and why we gave up, but how to mitigate this and the right way to start. Overall, this is a MUST for everyone out there to understand their body, their thought process, and the actual process we need to go to in order to become healthier and happier!!
