Powerful and gritty!
😍 This book was simply amazing! From supernatural acts of God to page-turning action, this book has it all. It is a unique story that is sure to capture your heart and keep you on your toes! The character development and depth was perfectly done. I absolutely adore a good enemies to more trope and R.C. Mogo hits it out of the park with this one! Zahra, our main female character, is relatable which I love. Her intelligence, thirst for justice, and tender heart make her easy to love! Stephen, our main male character, is raw and real - going through such a big transformation as the story moves on. And that ending?! 🤯😍 Definitely my favorite book of 2024!

Has all my favorites wrapped up in one
This is an incredible story. Not only does R.C. Mogo reimagine a timeless Biblical event but she does it in a way that does not replace the original. The truth of the past is beautifully tied together with the Living Hope of today that we find in Christ. This tale is also so very relatable with our own internal struggle we face each day… rely on ourselves? or rely on God’s strength? We all wrestle with the flesh daily, this story brings that fight to life.
