Cindy becomes the unwilling custodian of humanity’s endgame. She must choose who enters, and ultimately, who carries the seed of tomorrow. But when her own daughter is deemed genetically unfit for preservation, Cindy commits the greatest of sins: she rewrites the future with love.

As the ice tightens its grip on the planet, Cindy narrates the fall of the Fourth Cycle and the cruel rebirth of the Fifth.
